My current (Summer 2017) Morning Routine.
This changes seasonally. I’ll post my Fall routine in September. Enjoy!
5:15-5:30 am Meditate.
5:30 am Put water on for warm water tea or coffee. This changes based on my mood, digestion and the weather. AND, place essential oils in kitchen diffuser. I choose the oils based on mood, health and season! My FAVORITE current blend is grapefruit, spearmint, peppermint and clary sage.
5:45 am With a warm drink, I’m ready to read, write/journal in my plain old composition notebook or map out some book ideas that I’m chewing on in my favorite cozy chair OR outside in the backyard.
6:15 am Take the dog around the block, walk, enjoy the quiet and the coolness. SOMETIMES I listen to a podcast.
6:30 am Kids are usually up now so we move/exercise together, play, read or I start cooking/creating food for the day.
1-3 days a week I leave for an early am class like 6 am or 7 am so I condense my routine. But, I stick to this even on the weekends!
